Research Services
We offer family tracing in our Genealogy Section to people living abroad who had family living or working in Valentia.

Among our research facilities we have the 1901 and 1911 Census, a vaccination report book (kindly donated by the Valentia Hospital), and the Roll Books of two of the three national schools on the Island, in Corabeg and Knightstown.

To request research services, please contact the Centre by email to: [email protected]
or by letter (see contact page), and include as much information as possible.

A fee is charged for research, details of which will be advised before any work is undertaken.

We can also search records of births, deaths, and marriages, courtesy of the Church of Ireland.
